Joe Gill Jr. is a compassionate and dedicated therapist committed to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and discover their potential. With a background in education, leadership, and behavioral health, Joe brings a holistic approach to therapy, drawing from his diverse experiences to offer clients personalized care and guidance.

Joe’s journey in mental health began after his extensive work in education, where he served as a teacher, behavior specialist, and youth director. His passion for supporting young people led him to create “Project Safe Space,” a program designed to help students resolve conflicts and develop healthier coping strategies. His time working at Dallas ISD allowed him to cultivate a deep understanding of student’s mental and emotional struggles, equipping him with the tools to empower them both in and out of the classroom.

After completing his Master’s in Educational Leadership, Joe pursued a second Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health, reflecting his unwavering desire to support individuals on their mental health journeys. Joe completed his degree in December 2024 and is a licensed professional counselor associate (LPC-A). His approach is rooted in empathy, active listening, and evidence-based therapeutic techniques that foster resilience and self-awareness.

Joe continues working with educators and students to create environments prioritizing mental well-being, character development, and emotional growth. Whether working with individuals, families, or groups, Joe’s mission is to provide clients with a safe and supportive space to heal, grow, and thrive.

Outside of his professional life, Joe is a devoted husband and father who finds balance and joy in family life. He believes that true healing comes when individuals feel seen, heard, and cared for, and he strives to create these transformative connections with each person he works with.

Joe lives by the mantra: “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.”
